Upcoming dates:

The mobile dentists are coming

Mobile Dentists will be coming to Park View School on Thursday, March 18th and will bring its preventive dental care program on-site because we know how important good oral health is to our students’ overall general health. The Mobile Dentists team will set up a mini-dental office in our building and will provide dental examinations, cleaning, fluoride treatments, sealants, and x-rays.  In order to receive these services, please complete and return permission forms (English · Spanish). An flyer with additional information was sent home recently with each student.

Local artists shine in art show

Wednesday, February 4th, 2010 was a night to remember for 16 very talented Park View students.  Their stunning artwork was chosen for the 2010 Junior High Art Show at Niles West High School. This gala event included a gallery exhibit, tours of the art studios, and an awards assembly in the auditorium. It was an evening to celebrate art and to get local junior high students excited for their future art facilities, staff, and future art endeavors at the high school. Congratulations Park View artists!

Emergency closing information

When checking to see if school is open or closed due to bad weather, one should always assume that school is open, as that is always our hope unless it is believed to be unsafe to be outside. The Emergency Closing Center is a reliable place to check for the latest closings. Please refer to Emergency Closing Information fact sheet for additional information as to other methods to find out if school is closed.
