• Opportunity Room Schedule
• Park View students and staff created holiday cards to be sent to those from Illinois serving in the armed forces. Over 550 cards, which were produced in classrooms, art class and in the computer lab, will be hand delivered by Governor Quinn to service members at Landstuhl Medical Center in Germany, where medical personnel treat the most seriously wounded from Iraq and Afghanistan. It was a worthwhile learning experience for students to realize what these heroes sacrifice in order to keep our country safe.
  
  

• Congratulations to our 2009 Battle of the Books team, Darby, Tia, Osama, Ethan, Vincent, Faisal, and Hailey as they completed their round of competitions accomplishing an undefeated season. A noteworthy achievement included the fact that several of the members have read all or most of the 60 books on the list and were able to answer very specific questions about each book plus name its author and title. In a great team effort, the Park View Book Warriors again proved that all readers are winners.
