Family Fun Fair and Picnic
This event is held during on a Saturday in September with games, food and MORE! It is a great way to relax, have some fun and get to know the Park View Community. All are invited.
Other events during the Fun Fair are the Bake Sale and Silent Auctions (See fundraising events).
PTO Socials
The PTO Reception is held in September. It is the first PTO event of the year. Our agenda meeting is held directly after the reception and the event is in the multi-purpose room. All who attend are asked to bring either an appetizer or dessert. It is a tasty night out as well as an informative evening.
Please join the members of the Park View PTO for an evening of adult community, connection and camaraderie at our annual Social. This gathering takes the place of the regularly scheduled PTO meeting. It will be held on February 2nd at Rusty's Tavern, 9005 Waukegan Rd in Morton Grove. It will be from 6:30-8:30 pm and the cost is $20 per person which includes pizza, appetizers, dessert and soft drinks. Cash bar is available. We hope you can join us for An Evening with the Stars!
Programs
Author/Illustrator
The PTO sponsors a visit from a children’s' author and an illustrator. The published professional makes a presentation to each grade level, covering topics such as; how information is researched for a book, how much their artwork has improved over years of practice and specific strategies for how students can improve their writing skills. Over the years the author/illustrator program has proven to be a meaningful enrichment program for the students at Park View school community.
Assemblies
The Park View school PTO sponsors performances such as Boom Troupe and Motivational Productions. These programs are designed to inspire, motivate, and challenge young people to make healthy choices and develop strong character.
Family Breakfast
Breakfasts are held before school on two Fridays in the spring. It’s a great opportunity for families to share time together.
