The PTO, with its many dedicated volunteers, works very hard each year raising funds to support the many purchases and programs it provides for the Park View School community.  Here you will find more information about each fundraiser program. Please feel free to contact the committee coordinators if you have interest in joining the fundraising team(s).

Fall Fundraiser
Our Fall Fundraiser with Innisbrook was a success!  We thank the parents, Innisbrook logoteachers and students for their participation.  Purchases of wrapping paper and novelty gifts can be visited year-round on the website and continue to contribute to the Park View fundraising efforts.  You can place your order online at Innisbrook's website.
Just remember to enter our school number: 102803 and that 50% of profits go directly to our school.

Bake Sale
Families donate baked treats and the PTO sells the desserts during the Family Fun Fair and Picnic (see Events) held on a Saturday in September.

Book Fair 2010
2010 Park View Book Fair is coming! Stop by the Book Fair to gobble up your favorite books and more!  On Thursday, Feb. 4th from 4:30 to 8:30 pm and Friday, Feb. 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., take a look in the Multi-Purpose Room when you stop in for conferences.  You will be able to find just the right books for the readers you love!  Look for the link on the Park View website, parkview70.net, for a preview and more information.

Silent Auction
Merchants donate goods and certificates to the PTO.  Park View teachers also donate their services.  Families place written bid on these items and the sale proceeds go directly to PTO.  This event is held during the Family Fun Fair and Picnic (see events below) held on a Saturday in September.

Market Day
This is a food co-op that our PTO organizes and usually held on the third Friday each month in the Park View cafeteria.  Our school receives 10% profit from every purchase. Bonus Days items are 10% or more.  Market Day products are also at the SaraLee Store in Skokie (3760 Dempster Street).  When purchasing online or at the Sara Lee Store, please remember to use our school number:   5279 so that can get credit to our school! To order Market Day items, click the logo below...Market Day

Spiritwear Clothing
The Spirit Wear Program is available so every child has an opportunity to share in Park View school ’s School Spirit.  While Spiritwear is a fundraiser for the PTO, we emphasize that it is more important that every child have an opportunity to be able to purchase a variety of spirit wear, so we do not make the prices of the clothing any more than one would find in a store and sometimes even cheaper.

Scholastic Book Fairs
The PTO Scholastic Book Fair is held in the February at Park View School and is set up in the Multi-Purpose for two days. A large number of parent volunteers help to set up the book fair and provide assistance to students during the book fair. Students, parents, and staff are able to purchase new books, pencils, and novelty items at a discounted rate. The Book Fair provides an opportunity for students to enjoy and choose new and exciting books. The PTO does not receive any funds from the sale of these books.  Instead, the proceeds go right back to the school by obtaining credit vouchers to shop for products for the classrooms and libraries.

Escrip
One more way to contribute to Park View is to visit http://www.escrip.com/
Starting with your sign up date, every time you shop at the Morton Grove Dominick's, our school earns money.  Park View’s group ID:  6550295

Here's How it Works:
You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program.  Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.  Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf! Our school will receive an electronic deposit into our bank account every month.

School Supply Kits
In Spring, the PTO conducts a school supply kit program through SchoolKidz.  The kit is fully customized with what the teachers have requested for each grade level. Each kit is filled with new, name brand school supplies.  The kits are prepaid and then delivered to our school and distributed during Packet-Pickup in August.  The PTO receives a portion of proceeds from the sale of each kit.

Target
We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, (scroll down the page one full screen) or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.  Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can take part, too.
