Student Council

Food drive a success

Thanks once again to the Park View community for being so generous during this holiday season. The annual student council effort yielded so much food that firefighters said once again, Park View's amount doubled the food they had collected so far. Park View comes through over and over again...thank you one and all!

Our 2009-2010 8th Grade Elected Board Members:

• President: Stephanie Knorr
• Vice President: Matthew Sumague
• Secretary: Jordan Moy
• Treasurer: Jacob Levinson
• First Spirit Day: October 2nd (Wear your favorite sports team, or your Park View colors)
• (The class winner for Spirit Awards this year will get a party…)
• We will be starting a fundraiser for the Helping Hands for Heartland Animal Shelter to help a former Park View student with her community service project. She will be coming to our next Student Council meeting to explain more about the project.
• All homerooms should be making a suggestion box for Student Council Suggestions for Room Representatives to bring to meetings.
• All students are welcome to attend our after school Student Council Meetings. Our next meeting is October 14th.
• Green Team Duties will be starting next week Tuesday, September 29th:
